Ultimate Space Battle (USB) is a personal project, a video game I developped with a programmer friend, Bastien Chapuis, on Unity 3D. We worked on it for 2 months this summer. USB is downloable here, and you can check for the controls here.
Space Ruins
The Space Ruins are drifting during the game. Players can collect points or weapons on it.
For these models, I created two differents shaders (with Shader Forge) for the metal and the natural parts wich are reusable.
Each shader is using a splat map to apply diffuse, normal, specular and gloss. On the metal shader a second splat can be used to apply alpha clip and emissive.
All the textures map applied on splat map's channel (RGBA) are tileable and are 64 x 64 px. Splat maps are 128 x 128 px.
I also reused space ruins' shaders for the end screen.

Collectibles
Fx and collectibles are animated by moving UV.
